WEEK 1

How to determine if you’re ready to move from planning as a hobby to planning as a real business.   AND what you need to do to take the first step.  Many “want to be” planners (WwP’s) skip this important step and their business fails because of it.

WEEK 2

Home Office:  I will teach you what you need to set up your home office for success.  It’s important for you to have a dedicated space in order to get things done, dream big and (potentially) meet with prospective clients.  I’ll share with you the 5 MUST HAVES for your home office to be more than just a place to store your computer.

WEEK 3

Networking & Vendor Relationships:

This week I will teach you the 3 big secrets of vendor referrals and how you can quickly become a venue favorite.  Planners long for referrals from vendors & venues but get tripped up when trying to establish relationships with the “need to know” industry pros.  Learn how you can take the fast track to being a part of the popular crowd and getting tons of referrals.

WEEK 4

Marketing: Learn what the bride is looking for and how to design your business to be attractive to her.  Discover why brides choose one planner over another and why some planners can charge so much—and actually get it!  Bonus: Learn the big mistakes that planners make with brides that can ruin your business entirely.

WEEK 5

The Wedding Day:  In this class, you’ll learn what it takes to be perceived as a wedding pro by the guests, vendors AND the venue.  You can start a business, but you still need to battle your “hobbyist” reputation.  I will reveal to you the common pitfalls of the amateur wedding planner and how you can turn these around and be seen as a pro by all in attendance.

WEEK 6

Follow up: You’ll learn methods that will keep brides flocking to your business and how to get started taking your now up & running business to the next level.  So many planners hang up their shingle and 6 months later they disappear and so do their dreams.   (insert sad face)

You don’t want to be a fly-by-night wedding planner – you want this dream to be a reality.  I will show you how to set up your business for consistent cash flow and become a full-time wedding planner without having to rely on a corporate job to pay your bills.  (YES it is possible!)
